Charlie Phillips passed away on July 4th, 2015. His perpetual activism will be remembered.
“I met Charlie at Community Television in the nineties. He wanted some volunteers for Voices From the Village. Little did I know the impact that encounter would have on me. From years of TV episodes, protest lines and non-profit organization I just seemed to keep volunteering. He was tenacious.” said PJ Grube.
A memorial and reception will be held on Thursday morning at the Little Red Church 532 Center St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, July 9th, 2015 , 11:30 a.m.
He will be missed R.I.P.
